This is my most current work and my newly developed painting style. Most of these paintings were done in spray paint on canvas and are organized in reverse chronological order beginning with the most recently painted and ending with my first experimentation in this style.

This style of painting is a very emotional and engaging practice for me because the paintings depend almost exclusevily on the moment in which they are being done. I developed this technique while seeking a new way to practice my craft, one that would counter the strict and methological way I use the pencil and explore a brand new and less predictable medium.

As you will see it would be almost impossible to control every single shape that is formed on my canvases, but once they are there I embrace and acknoledge them as entities capable of working in unison with others, each one of them a thought, an action, an individual that is part of the whole. I hope you enjoy my explorations and hopefully feel the different emotions each one of these paintings portray.

This is the first of it's own series which branches off from this one and derivates its shapes from the ones formed by the spraypaint on the rest of these series, which is why I included Abrumado in this particular order here the brushwork replaces the uninhibited movement of the spraypaint on the rest of the paintings.
